Studyportals’ aim is to make quality matches between students and programmes of Higher Education institutions worldwide. By asking students to sign-up and register, we can capture their interests and we can engage with them over time to provide relevant information for a more transparant study choice.

Every year more than 35 million students use Studyportals in their journey to discover and decide on an international education programme that best fits their needs and their interests. Besides extensive programme and university information, Studyportals offers tools to help them assess and compare best-fitting programmes.

When visitors use the tools on our portals such as Wishlist, we ask them to register so their information can be saved and reused. In January we introduced more triggers for our visitors to sign-up. All Studyportals visitors – after having visited 3 programme pages – are asked to register. When registered and logged in, visitors have access to all information and all support tools available. With these registrations and resulting student profiles we can further innovate our services and deliver more value to students and higher education (HE) institutions. In our quest to make quality matches between students and programmes of Higher Education institutions worldwide, we need to know what a student is looking for.

By asking student to sign-up and register, we can capture their interests and make sure we present the most relevant information. In addition, we can engage with the student over time and provide valuable content and support during their journey to find international education. This can be interesting programme options, pathways information, application deadlines, etc.

Another benefit of registration is that we can engage with students until their enrolment, which allows us to use these insights again to support other students on a similar path.

Visitors can easily sign up using LinkedIn, Facebook, Google or email. We’re continuously improving the experience in order to make it as easy as possible. And of course we’re monitoring the effects for students as well as for our partner universities.

If you are a partner institute and have questions about this feature, do not hesitate to reach out to your success manager.
