General introduction/background 

Carel is an experienced leader in B2B Sales and Marketing, having led international sales and marketing teams, with a specific focus on delivering high-quality services. Before Studyportals, Carel was the regional Head of Sales/CMO for International SOS in Northern Europe. He truly believes in servant leadership – the development of his team members is very important to him.  

Key challenge 

Carel is driven by the ambition to make study-choice transparent globally, especially being a father of three student sons. He firmly believes that the insights and opportunities provided by the unique Studyportals platform will enable institutions across the globe to have better and easier access to the right students.
