StudyPortals moving its headquarters to iconic Klokgebouw

StudyPortals – the worldwide study choice platform – is moving its headquarters to the top floor of the ‘Klokgebouw’, one of the most iconic buildings of Eindhoven.

The decision to move was initially one of necessity: StudyPortals continues to grow, and our current office is no longer able to accommodate our plans. We will be hiring over 100 talented people from around the world in the coming 2 years, and we want our office to not only grow but also reflect our values and boost our team’s happiness.

StudyPortals was founded in 2009, and has grown from three founders to over 130 employees representing 32 nationalities, the majority of whom are located in its Eindhoven headquarter in the Glasgebouw, while the others are based in the regional offices in Boston, Melbourne and Bucharest. In 2015, StudyPortals has been triple awarded for being one of the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands, as well for its international impact and efforts to improve the world through more equality in global education opportunities.

We are excited that StudyPortals is staying in the startup rich area of Strijp-S, where we are building a strong entrepreneurship community and we believe they will be a nice addition to the current tenants, such as Popcentrum PopeEi, Blue Collar Hotel, Founded by All, Deems, and We are Electric.

Strijp-S is our birthplace and we owe part of our success to this attractive, bustling area where cooperating is easy and working is a pleasure. We are very happy that we can stay in the area for the next phase, and this particular location is a little dream come true.

The new office will be located on the seventh (top) floor of the Klokgebouw and has an ambitious goal: being the coolest startup offices in the Netherlands. Architecture and design is in the hands of the Kragt Group, another Strijp-S founded company.  The office will also reflect the StudyPortals core values: making the world a little better, personal growth, dedication, heads up & hearts open, and being ‘serious about fun’.

Local designers from the Strijp-S area will be asked to contribute to the design with furniture and special installations to make the office world-class.

We expect the grand opening to take place at the end of October (the exact date may be subject to change).
