Andrew Disbury

Backed by 35 years of experience in education management roles in China, India, Scotland, and England, Andrew Disbury is the retired President of Media Square Media in the United Kingdom. Previously, he has held positions at several British universities including the University of the West of Scotland, where he was Vice-Principal and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement).

He was also the British Council’s Education Director in China and has since 2012 served as the chair of the Awards and Talent Committee of the European Association for International Education (EAIE). His role at EAIE concluded in 2023. He is now Managing Director at AD Education Consultants as well as Senior Advisor at Duolingo English Test.
