Max supports the Talent Acquisition team by assisting with candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and recruitment administration. He works with the hiring team to ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience while helping identify talent that aligns with the company’s needs and culture.
Max was born in Lima, Peru and was raised in New Jersey, USA. He moved in 2022 to the Netherlands and fell in love with the city of Eindhoven. He is currently a third-year International Business student at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven.
Studyportals’ mission is personal to Max, as an international student studying abroad. Enabling students to choose higher education for themselves by giving them access to transparent and reliable information. He is happy to be apart of an impactful organization with a vibrant and warm corporate culture, as well as finding like-minded candidates/future superheroes!
His key challenge is moving quickly through the hiring funnel while ensuring candidates genuinely meet the role requirements as well as being a culture fit. Being able to provide candidates with the best experience in the hiring process is essential to enhancing brand credibility and strengthening long-term talent pipelines.
Max’s favorite element of Studyportals is the importance of culture. The culture of any company plays a vital role in shaping employee engagement, performance, and retention. It reflects the values, leadership style, and work environment, influencing how teams collaborate and achieve a common goal. The strong and positive culture at Studyportals not only attracts talent, but also fosters accountability, innovation, and long-term success.
Outside of work, Max enjoys traveling and hiking with family and friends. He also loves to explore Eindhoven with friends, finding new paths and streets to walk down and restaurants to visit. At home, he has two cats that keep him busy and certainly add plenty of energy and character to his day.
