Copyright Infringement Notice & Takedown Policy

Studyportals respects the intellectual property rights of others and requires all users of our websites and services to do the same. If you believe that content available through our platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice (“Infringement Notice”) as described below.
Please note: Misrepresenting the content is infringing and may expose you to liability for damages. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, you should first consult a qualified attorney.
Submitting an Infringement Notice
To be valid, an Infringement Notice must include all the following information:
- Your physical or electronic signature (or that of a person authorized to act on your behalf).
- Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed.
- A description of the nature and exact location of the allegedly infringing content, in sufficient detail to allow us to locate it (e.g., a direct link and specification of the material, such as an image, text, or video).
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your Infringement Notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

Our Response
- Upon receipt of a valid Infringement Notice, Studyportals will review the claim and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- We will notify the user who uploaded or made the content available of the action taken.
- Notices that are incomplete or invalid may not be acted upon.
Counter-Notice Procedure
If you are a registered Studyportals user and believe that content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice.
A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement explaining why the material was removed or disabled in error or as a result of misidentification.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may reinstate the material, unless we receive notice that the copyright owner has filed legal action to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.
