Job summary/responsibilities

Ashley joined StudyPortals in December 2021 as a Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships. As a strategic, driven leader she is passionate about forging and nurturing relationships with education partners around the globe. Currently she is building new relationships with universities across the United Kingdom, ensuring students worldwide receive unbiased access to education in the UK.

General introduction/background

Ashley is based in Vancouver, BC and has worked in the field of education for over 12 years. She believes in working as a collective and providing the best possible information and guidance to international students and their families to ensure their decision to study abroad is a positive and truly life changing experience.

Previous to joining StudyPortals, Ashley spent 3 years living in India and worked across South Asia with education agencies, high schools and South Asian universities to foster transnational education pathways and study abroad opportunities to Canada, USA and European institutions. She deeply understands the measures of success and the approaches to bringing teams together through shared goals, recognition, ownership and responsibility.

Ashley is a mother to a beautiful daughter named Scotlyn and a fur child, a dog named Jack.

Ensuring our partners are able to grow a truly meaning full, diverse and healthy student body on campus across all available programs, as well as giving students from all countries accurate and timely information to create a stress free journey towards studying abroad. Favourite activities

When she is not working you will find Ashley in the Canadian mountains snowboarding, on the ocean sailing, or fly fishing during the day and singing around a campfire lakeside at night!
She loves exploring the outdoors and curling up with a good book.
