Terms and Conditions
1.Definitions
a. Applicant
An Applicant is a user that has a registered and activated account on www.Mastersportal.com, www.Bachelorsportal.com, www.PhDportal.com, or www.Shortcoursesportal.com.
b. Potential Gift Recipient
A Potential Gift Recipient is an Applicant which has been accepted to a study programme at one of the partner universities of Studyportals. The Potential Gift Recipient will become the Gift Recipient after the eligibility has been verified.
c. Eligible Gift Recipient
d. Gift Provider
This gift is provided by Studyportals, Klokgebouw 280, 5617 AC Eindhoven, The Netherlands, hereafter referred to as the Gift Provider.
2. Eligibility
An eligible Applicant to this project is an Applicant who is an enrolled and active student in one of StudyPortals partner universities at the time of applying for the gift. Furthermore, the Applicant should have started their current study within the last 12 months. Exchange Students are excluded from receiving the gift. The Applicant must have found his/her current study programme at one of the following portals: www.Mastersportal.com, www.Bachelorsportal.com, www.PhDportal.com, or www.Shortcoursesportal.com.
The Gift Provider reserves the right to verify if the Applicant was an active Studyportals user (on at least one of the portals) at least three months before the start of the Applicant’s current university study. As well as the right to ask for a proof of enrollment to determine eligibility. Once the Potential Gift Recipient eligibility has been confirmed, the Gift Provider may ask for a photo.
The Eligible Gift Recipient can claim the gift (hoodie refund/ Amazon voucher/ ISIC card) within 6 months after he/she has been informed he/she is eligible to receive the gift.
3. Duration
Entries will be accepted from Monday, September 22, 2014. The campaign may be cancelled at any moment in time.
4. Gift
The Eligible Gift Recipient can choose only one of the following gift options:
4.1. Hoodie Refund
A one-time reimbursement of the maximum value of US Dollars 25 will be transferred to the Eligible Gift Recipient’s Paypal account within 15 days after the eligibility has been confirmed.
4.2. Amazon Voucher
A one-time Amazon voucher for Amazon UK, US, or Germany will be sent to the Eligible Gift Recipient’s email within 15 days after the eligibility has been confirmed.
*In all cases, the Eligible Gift Recipient can be requested to send a picture showing him/her at their university, to share publicly on Studyportals’ website and Social Media channels.
6. Publicity
By applying for the enrolment gift you agree to provide us with personal information which may be processed adhering at all times to our Privacy Policy. This policy also informs you with regards to your rights as a Data Subject under the GDPR.
Except where prohibited, application for the gift constitutes consent on behalf of the Gift Recipient to, publish the Eligible Gift Recipient’s name, photo, country of origin and country of study on the Studyportals’ websites, and other communications channels, comprising but not limited to newsletter articles, social media posts, mailing, and community announcements.
