David L. Di Maria

Vice Provost for Global Engagement at UMBC

David L. Di Maria currently serves as Vice Provost for Global Engagement at UMBC. He is a dedicated scholar-practitioner who regularly presents, publishes and consults on critical issues impacting international education. Di Maria has served as president of AIRC: The Association of International Enrollment Management, chair of NAFSA’s International Enrollment Management Knowledge Community and faculty member for AIEA’s Leadership Academy for New Senior International Officers. He is the author or editor of more than 50 publications, including several books. Di Maria earned a doctorate from the University of Minnesota, where he studied international education from a P-16 perspective.
