Joep Annega

Joep acts as the general manager/director for the whole Uni-Life team. His main tasks are to grow the business/division, ensure all teams are equipped to hit their targets, keeping all stakeholders aligned, and building the strategy.

Joep spent the first 18 years of his life living in 9 countries, before coming back to The Netherlands to study International Business at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. As choosing where to study is one of the biggest decisions we make early on in our life, he founded Uni-Life with the mission to provide every student with the best possible student experience (regardless of study or destination). He loves football, travelling, running, skiing and reading.

Joep’s biggest challenge (but also greatest adventure) is building the best possible solution that can make a real impact for students across the world!

His favorite thing about Studyportals is the very diverse team, international and very fun! Without them, it would be way harder and way less fun.

Personally, his goal is completing a triathlon or 100km trail race. Professionally, building one of the most recognized/praised products in the industry.
