Reasons to (not) recommend an international study experience

  • International students recommend Belgium for the great social life
  • Students comment much more and more positive on City & Culture, which implies that they find it more important than other international students in Europe
  • Students find university services extremely poor, especially in comparison to other international students in Europe
  • A slow, unorganized, and lengthy bureaucratic process is by far students’ biggest complaint
  • International students very much enjoy Belgian cities’ atmosphere, looks, and size, even more so than international students in other countries
  • Students find the bi- and tri-linguicism of the country confusing and even inhibiting the possibility of improving their foreign languages
