Carmen Cotofana

Job summary/ responsibilities

She is involved in HR management activities, such as: recruitment, employee development, conflict management; and also, in the organization and coordination of the support activities in regards to the maintenance of the building.

General introduction/background

After studying Sociology at the University of Bucharest, and obtained her sociologist’s lens, she wanted to help and make people happy, so she thought that working in HR is a great idea. Carmen started as a recruiting intern for a private healthcare network, Regina Maria,  then continued to learn the mysteries of HR in an IT company, Metro Systems Romania. She came to Studyportals because she loved our company’s main objective: to empower the world to choose education.

Key challenge

It would be to keep everything running well around the HR office and to retain the great talents in the long-term.

Personal Goal

One of Carmen’s goals is to work independently as a Graphic Designer, while continuing to help people in finding their dream job, as a recruiter.

The openness and kindness, also the positive energy and the feeling of togetherness made her feel, from the start, that this is the perfect place to be. She thinks that a team will never work without these.

Favourite activities

Carmen loves to play with the ingredients in the kitchen, with the colors in painting, with words in poetry, with letters in calligraphy.
