Gyles Hawkins

Background

Born and bred in London, Gyles spent ten years in Exeter in the South West of England before moving to the Netherlands to live with the Dutch girl he met at university. He is the proud owner of two Labradoodles and two passports, as he got Dutch citizenship in 2022.

Before Studyportals, Gyles worked at Laureate Online Education for over ten years, initially in enrolment for the University of Liverpool’s online programmes, and then in building Liverpool’s student communications from the ground up. Prior to Laureate, he had a background mostly in client relationship management.
