Job summary/responsibilities

Özlem works as a Campaign Manager for EMEA region. Her main responsibilities include campaign implementation, regular monitoring of the campaign performance, campaign optimization and reporting of the campaign results to the clients. Communication with the clients from the start to the end of a promotion period and collaboration with the sales team are essential in her role to achieve client success.

General introduction/background

Özlem was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, followed by master’s in the same subject. In those years, her dreams changed from working in diplomacy to academia, and then to marketing. Those years were also the years she first travelled outside of her country and embarked on several adventures in Europe, including an interrail adventure, participation in student exchange programme and a voluntary workcamp experience.

After obtaining her master’s degree, she worked in the higher education sector for a while before switching to market research. She loved working in both sectors, but the desire to move abroad bested her, and she found herself in Eindhoven. She is now happy to work in a place and position that combined the two sectors she previously worked and enjoyed working in while the multicultural environment of Studyportals nurtures her desire to explore other cultures.

Key challenge

Meeting client needs in the campaigns implemented and ensuring happy clients with the campaign results. In the end, making sure that the bridge between students looking for their best match of education and universities looking for their best match of students is built and running smoothly.
