Job summary/responsibilities

As a product owner she is working on the maximization of the current features and functionality of Studyportals to their fullest potential like increasing registrations, increase the number of page views, improve the search engine, strengthen the overall product usability, and countless other things. Her responsibilities are creating roadmaps and backlogs, monitoring metrics, and making sure that she and her team are delivering the most value to our students and the business.

 

General introduction/background

Rita come from a small portuguese village that is known for the most delicious calf dish. She studied Biomedical Engineering in Portugal and two years ago she moved to the Netherlands to find a new career opportunity.

One of the main reasons for choosing product owner as a career is that she has a long-time interest in management but also fascinated by how technological innovation can help the stakeholders to be more competitive in an ever more global and ever-changing world. The thought of making ideas grow and bring them to life as a product is very appealing to her.

Rita is also passionate about making an impact in the world by doing volunteering. This experience help her meet different kinds of people, affect positively and learn new skills.

 

Favourite activities

Practicing photography, traveling and discovering new cities, cooking. If the weather is very cold and rainy, she likes watching movies and series.
