The International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE) is the leading global membership organization for the open and distance education community and is open to institutions, educational authorities, commercial actors, and individuals.
ICDE is an NGO in formal consultative relations with UNESCO and shares UNESCO´s key value – the universal right to education for all. ICDE further derives its position from the unique knowledge and experience of its members throughout the world in the development and use of new methodologies and emerging technologies.
ICDE was founded in 1938 in Canada as the International Council for Correspondence Education and today has members from over 50 countries worldwide.

The Student Research Opportunities Program (SiROP Association) connects leading universities in Europe and the US.
The Association is based in Zurich, Switzerland, and develops a web 2.0 technology which enables universities to incorporate an undergraduate research opportunities program (UROP) in a strong network. SiROP has more than 16 largely renowned research institution as partner organisations. The database contains numerous exciting open research positions (Internship, MSc, PhD, PostDoc) for excellent students.

Enterprise Ireland is responsible for the international marketing and promotion of Irish Higher Education Institutions. We are responsible for promoting, developing and branding Ireland’s international higher education offering.
Enterprise Ireland is the Irish state agency responsible for supporting the development of manufacturing and internationally traded services companies. Enterprise Ireland provides funding and supports for companies – from entrepreneurs with plans for a high potential start-up to large companies expanding their activities, improving efficiency and growing export sales.
We also provide funding and supports for college based researchers to assist in the development, protection, and transfer of technologies into the industry via licensing or spin-out companies.
Diku is a Norwegian agency promoting quality enhancement and innovation, international cooperation and digital learning in education.
The Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education is Norway’s official agency for international programmes and measures related to quality enhancement in education.
Diku is responsible for internationalisation throughout the course of education, from kindergarten to PhD level. The agency distributes competitive funds and is responsible for developing and stimulating quality in higher education and vocational schools.
Diku also promotes Norway as a study destination internationally through the website Study in Norway and its social media platforms.
The Swedish Institute is a public agency with a staff of approximately 130 employees with offices in Stockholm, Visby and Paris. SI is an agency with the task of creating goodwill and confidence in Sweden.
The Institute is now openly referring to “public diplomacy” and “nation branding” to spread knowledge about the tools we and others are using to promote Sweden abroad. With the launch of Sweden.se – the official gateway to Sweden the potential to spread information about Sweden has entered a new phase. Many more people around the world now have access to information about Sweden. SI arrange greater initiatives in selected countries, such as the Scopriamo la Svezia in Italy, and Svédületes in Hungary. SI develops and utilises contacts with the many students who annually come to Sweden through an alumni network. SI leaves the Sweden House building in 2002 and moves to the Old Town. Sweden Bookshop, SI´s bookstore with books on Sweden in many languages now attracts many more tourists.
Archimedes Foundation is an independent body established by the Estonian government with the objective to coordinate and implement different international and national programmes and projects in the field of training, education and research.
Education
We are the implementing body of EU Lifelong Learning Programme and administer several national and international scholarship schemes for improving mobility, marketing Estonian higher education and research abroad.
The evaluation of foreign qualifications is carried out by the Academic Recognition Information Centre (Estonian ENIC/NARIC centre), while Estonian Higher Education Quality Agency carries out institutional accreditation and quality assessment of study groups.

Admissions professionals use the GMAT as a benchmark to assess students from a wide range of academic programmes and undergraduate majors worldwide, as well as varying levels of professional experience.
The GMAT is a valid predictor of academic performance in graduate management programmes: this is proven by more than 60 years of testing expertise and decades of peer-reviewed research including hundreds of validity studies in the last 10 years.
An initiative from the IIE (Institute of International Education), supporting U.S. study abroad.
The goal of the initiative “Generation Study Abroad” is to have 600,000 U.S. students studying abroad in credit and non-credit programs (using the Open Doors 2019, which reports on 2017/2018 data). Over the next 5 years, Generation Study Abroad will reach out to educators at all levels and stakeholders in the public and private sectors to encourage purposeful, innovative action to get more Americans to undertake an international experience. Putting IIE’s resources behind this campaign highlights the commitment to increasing study abroad that has been so much a part of the Institute’s mission for our first 95 years. Studyportals is an official commitment partner of this initiative.
Tempus Public Foundation (TPF) is a non-profit organization established in 1996 by the Hungarian Government, with the task of managing international cooperation programmes and special projects in the field of education, training and EU-related issues.
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is one of the biggest student associations in Europe. It was born on the 16th October 1989 and legally registered in 1990 for supporting and developing student exchange.
ESN is present in more than 1000 Higher Education Institutions from over 40 countries. ESN has around 15,000 active volunteers that are in many sections supported by so-called buddies mainly taking care of international students. Thus, ESN involves around 40,000 young people offering its services to around 350,000 international students every year. ESN works in the interest of international students and aims to improve their social and practical integration. ESN also represents the needs and rights of international students on the local, national, and international level.
