Facebooktwitterlinkedin

While we are dedicated to provide students and universities with the most comprehensive and transparent study-choice platform globally, the StudyPortals’ user community is growing every day.

Our visitors appreciate that we are keeping them up to date on new programmes, scholarship announcements and offering them valuable information about the latest studies in their field of interest.

Due to the ongoing success of our monthly newsletter we are excited to announce that we can now also offer mailing services to our clients. If you are interested to reach out to students world-wide looking for study programmes in specific fields and disciplines, this might be an interesting opportunity to create some additional awareness.

Why choose our service?
Our users
  • Fast growing database of international students
  • New and active subscribed users (over 250 new subscriptions daily)
  • All subscribers indicate their interested to receive information about relevant study programmes
  • Promote an individual programme or your university in general, you are able to reach out to a global audience
  • Filter options: discipline of interest, country of origin as well as subscribers’ interest to study in specific a country or region
  • Mailing recipients are selected on their subscribing options, but also on their behaviour on the website, therefore we can target relevant audiences.
How does this work?
  • You send us your mailing text, preferably with a picture and/or the logo of the university as well as an attractive subject line to get the recipients attention
  • We’ll design the email for you
  • We include a ‘call to action’ button which will link to your website
  • Alternatively we can also use your already designed html emails by including them in our template
How do we track our emails?

We are using a dedicated mailing software that enables us to provide you with a report of the email metrics. This includes the open and click rates. However, we strongly encourage you not to consider the open rates of emails when analysing the impact of the emailing campaign and instead focus on the click rates.

Open rates are usually affected by the email client provider. They are usually tracked by counting how many times the image in the email was downloaded by opening the email. Some email providers might block images when opening an email while others download the pictures automatically without the email being opened. The Click rate is a more reliable metric and we can track this two ways: within the emailing software and with Google Analytics. Therefore, we’ll also need a link to the particular study programme/university tracked in Analytics.
